Bluetooth Speaker Fails to Pair

Hi there,

I have a Bluetooth Speaker SRS-XB20, which was working for the past six years without a problem, on my MacBook Pro running macOS Catalina Version 10.15.7. This morning for some reason it stopped working, and now will not pair. I opened up the Bluetooth app in System Preferences and deleted the speaker from paired devices, and then I tried to pair it again. The Bluetooth app can see the speaker, but when I seek to connect it and pair the speaker I get a message that the connection failed. When I press the options key I get a menu item looking for a code. I have tried 0000, 1234 and 9999, and nothing works. According to the manufacturer the code should be 0000. I even deleted the file com.apple.Bluetooth.plist, and it was no good.

Can you help?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
