font files not showing in finder

Mac Studio M2 Max, Sonoma 14.2.1

I have downloaded a font family from Adobe (Proxima Nova) and opted to have it installed for non-Adobe apps. It appears in Font Book and I am able to use the fonts eg in Affinity Publisher. (In Pages, I have to display the Fonts panel to get access to them, which is a bit weird.)

I want to upload the fonts to Wix to use them on a site I am building, but I am unable to find the font files.

Is there an option somewhere to hide font files, with an associated option to un-hide them?

Did you check in ~/Library/Fonts? In /Library/Fonts?

Did you try searching for the font name with Spotlight?

To reach these folders (~/Library is hidden by default):

In Finder, press Command-Shift-G and paste

~/Library/Fonts

(and the same for /Library/Fonts)

Fonts acquired through the Creative Cloud app are copied from Adobe's servers to a hidden folder on your Mac. The font itself starts with a period to also hide that. And the name is not what the font is called, but rather something like .49247.otf.

In short, you aren't meant to find them. The app you're using to build your web site should produce fonts you can upload along with the rest of the site content when you publish it.
