So recently I downloaded a game to just play for a while but when i tried placing it into my games folder, it started acting up and placing itself and the corner of the folder. I have not had this happen to any other app i placed in the folder. I tried deleting the game but the white thumbnail stayed in the folder.

Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

I have the same glitch. I can’t remove or move the app. This happened once before with a different app and I needed to fully remove the app from my phone to solve it.
when it happened I tried to move one app into the folder, which looked like it worked, but was still on the main home screen too.
I’m having the same problem. The original app icon also stayed on the Home Screen. Deleting the app entirely did not solve the problem and there is still a placeholder there.
