cameras supported by apple for RAW images hi how long does it usually take for Apple to add a new camera? there is a Canon R6MII that is not yet added. camera has been out for a while. also just to clarify, CR3 (canon RAW image format) files can be opened in photoshop but if not added to apple's list you cannot see the PREVIEW icon..?? is this the only thing affected? Thank you. I am on Monterey but getting MacStudio soon so will be on the latest OS. But if my camera is NOT on the current Approved list, I will still not be able to see Preview Icon? is this correct?

If you want to request support for specific formats or devices you should use FCP feedback.

It’s not listed because the camera depends on an external recording device. The camera can output in a number of different supported recording formats.
