You need headphones with a USB-C connection or an adapter that plugs into the USB-C port and supports whatever type of headphones you have (3.5mm or lightning). Or, use Bluetooth headphones.

The headphone (or the adapter) will plug into the same port that you use to charge your iPad. It is a USB-C port.
