So I’m trying to restore my iphone 6 on my monterey macbook, whenver I try to restore it i click the restore button not the update one. It then prompts me to update and I reluctantly agree, after it has finished all that it just says it can’t restore my device??? Please help

Nothing more that you can do at this point other than take the phone to the Apple Store or an authorized Apple service shop. You can find a list of authorized shops in your area using this link:
Please don't be offended when they tell you that the cost of repairs will far exceed the value of the phone and the money would be better spent on a new phone.
After all, the iPhone 6 can't run any iOS version higher than 12.5.7 and there are going to be fewer and fewer apps that will even run on this old operating system.
