But it’s the truth. Honestly until the lawsuit is resolved or unless some sort of deal is reached the only thing you could assume for now is that the feature is gone in the affected models indefinitely. There is still inventory available from authorized retailers that aren’t the banned models (ones that have part numbers that don’t end in LW/A). Best Buy would be one for example (I personally know a few people that have purchased from there since the ban including a co-worker that bought one yesterday because the series 9 was $100 off as a Deal of the Day offering). The feature still works on those just as it does on those purchased before the ban went back into effect on 1/18/24. Something to consider if you want the feature and don’t want to deal with the unknown future of the watches were it was disabled.
