hoe much to extend apple care

I know I qualify to extend my apple care for my 13pro max and I know it’s paid monthly but I think it was either 11 or 13 dollars a month?

Does anyone know?

Seems like you have to wait until it expires before you can extend/renew? Is that correct? One would think Apple would want the money sooner than later...

Should be around $9.99 a month plus any taxes applied where you are.
