Email sub folders empty on ipad

For some reason my subfolders are showing “no mail” when as of last night there were plenty of saved emails, and I can’t seem to get them back.

However, when I go to outlook on the web and log in the sub folders are not empty but have all my emails saved in their respective sub folders.

Any ideas on how I can get them to show up in my iPad ?

Subfolders not showing in apple mail iphone 14 Pro iOS 16.5.1 I created parent folders in my apple mail app. It gets email from my gmail account. I have created a couple of subfolders under a couple of parent folders. When I want to save an email in a sub folder it does not show up. I used to be able to see subfolders under parent folders all the time. It’s a mail set up thing but I’ve gone through settings and there are no changes there to make to allow me to see my subfolders. Can you help me find them? Thanks in advance!
