New Office Network Shared Printer Hold for Authentication

We got 3 computers for our small business to replace old HP's and it has caused all sorts of issues. I've fixed most of them but I am truly stumped on getting the computers to all be able to print. I have an old (10 years?) Canon 1150 that we love (and have spare parts for and everything) and I can connect that via USB cord to one of our computers. That works (although it does call it 1100/MF660 not 1150). Then I see that printer on the other two computers, it allows me to add the printer on those computers but any time I try to print it goes to a Hold for Authentication and I can't fix it.

I can't get it to ask me for credentials (I found a website that suggested sudo lpadmin -p [printer-name] -o auth-info-required=username,password) in the terminal in order to force it to ask me for credentials. That didn't work. Sharing is set to everyone on the main computer. I can't see anything in the keychain on any of the computers that is tied to the printer's name. I saw somewhere else to click on something once it is in hold for authentication to get it to ask for a user name and password but I don't have anything on that screen to do that.

I've deleted the printer and re-added it many times. Tried new names several times. I can't seem to find anything else to try. I tried hiring someone to come fix it but our old computer guy won't touch Macs and neither of the other two people I've reached out to have returned my calls.

Two Mac minis and one Mac Studio (happens from mini to mini and mini to studio), all brand new and operating on the latest ios. Print drivers were the newest ones I could find from Canon on the main computer, and I believe the sharing computers use the main computer's (it doesn't let me change the drivers from the other computers). One of those computers has the drivers on it anyway.

Recently as a workaround I just stuck a random printer we had never used on one of the other computers, which worked for a few days and then all of a sudden stopped. I had been using the ethernet port on both computer and printer, we tried just about everything to fix that. But if I can fix the main printer issue that is a moot point.

Any ideas?
