Retrieving, photos and contacts from a old iCloud account

I’m trying to help my wife retrieve photos and contacts from her old iCloud account. How are we able to locate her old iCloud account?

If you know the Apple ID and password used for the old account, you can use any internet browser and log into www.icloud.com.
