Changing audio output in iTunes & Apple Music (Windows)

Why is it straight up not a feature to switch audio outputs in iTunes & Apple Music for Windows? It's such a basic thing to have. You literally have to close the app, change your systemwide audio output, and then relaunch. Maybe there is a way and it's just not obvious to me? Or is it just Apple doing Apple things?
