password option not showing up under Settings/Mail/Account

I'm trying to change my email (gmail password) password on both my iphone and ipad and when I go yo settings/mail/accounts and click on the account and then click on "Account" it only shows the following:

Name

Email

Description

Outgoing Mail Server

There is nothing that says 'password". How do I change my password on my iphone and ipad?

How do I see your response?

Thanks

Have you already changed your Gmail password on their website?

If you have done that and don't get a popup to change your password when checking your Gmail account, then remove the email account, and add the email again using the Google type of email. It will then ask for your password. Other Mail accounts will let you change your Password in the Settings, but not Gmail.
