Setting up my iPad mini 6th generation

My iPad mini wouldn’t connect to my old iPad via the blue circle photo thing and although it did with my iPhone I then got a message saying the iPhone couldn’t be used for that. So I went for the icloud option and got stuck on a screen which has iCloud, sign in with your Apple ID, so I entered that and my password and since then it’s been stuck on a spinning sign in the grey bar at the bottom. I’ve tried the volume bar and on off button reset thing but nothing is happening. It’s been like this for two days now.. any idea what I do next? Thanks

If your iPad is unresponsive, perform a forced-restart:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
Press and hold the top button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If your iPad failed to restart, the process wasn't performed correctly.

At step three above, or if you have an iPad with a physical Home button, you must continue to hold the buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen - and only then release the buttons.
