Why is my ipad pro keeps saying storage insufficient even though it’s not? Is it bugging

I think my device is bugging due to the sum of all of my apps’ data isn’t even close to the number shown on screen. I’m sure i still have at least 2-3 GB spared but it keeps telling me “Storage insufficient”. Can someone help me on how to fix it (except for the restarting device method since i’ve tried that numerous of time. Which never works.) I thank you beforehand.

iPad Pro, 16

The graphic shows that your iPad has too little available space to operate.

The dark grey segment to the right of the graphic is System Data - of which you should see the total related usage if you scroll to the very bottom of the screen from which you captured the screenshot - although if you have too little free-space your iPad may have insufficient resources to calculate storage. System storage includes temporary and cached data.

It is generally recommended that you maintain 4-6GB of free space at all times - as your iPad needs temporary space to both function and complete tasks.

If your internal storage is full, or is insufficient for the task that you need to perform, your only option is to better manage the storage that you have - and delete unused Apps or unneeded data.

“Offloading” Apps can be a helpful method of creating temporary space - perhaps for a software update.

External storage options can often help with managing limited internal storage. Depending upon your iPad model, the iPad will either have a Lightning or USB-C port - and may therefore require either an Adapter or USB hub to connect the USB Storage device. If your iPad has a Lightning port, you’ll need an Apple Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter:
