Noto Nastaliq font for Urdu I have used Noto Nastaliq font for years from apple system font. Now when I have a new phone. 16 pro, I didn’t expect a big change of not being able to type in this font any longer. I thought I could just download it again but in the system fonts, it is not even showing the button to download. What happened to this font and more importantly how can I get it back? I type in Urdu quite often as I am a poet. This is very important for me. Can someone guide me please.

You can try adding fonts using an app like AnyFont.

But I understand that Bamini is a old non-Unicode font, and nomally Apple devices and apps will only work right with Unicode Tamil
