I have rebooted in safe mode and it seems to have helped but Ramon kept having trouble. I assume I need to restart in regular mode? Is it bad to just keep it in safe mode?

I have no idea what is "Ramon" ....
? SafeBoot Mode is a trouble shooting mode— system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, third party extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.
Have you tried a different mouse and compared your results? I would.
Yes I am using a different mouse now and it works just fine. so must be the mouse? Any ideas how to fix that mouse or is it toast?
Ramone was the original person who was having the same issues. I thought I was responding in that link. Never done this before.
I keep having to reset my wireless mouse to get it to scroll again.
