How to connect Canon printer Mg4150 with my MacBook Pro?
My printer won’t communicate with my Mac, ipad or iPhone. How do we fix this as we need to use it?

Hi,
The Canon MG4150 is listed as a supported printer in About AirPrint - Apple Support (en-us edition, January 23, 2024). An AirPrint model can be used without additional drivers/software provided that the printer, the Mac, the iPad and the iPhone are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).
You may want to check that the printer connection to your Wi-Fi router is correct. See also the AirPrint guide from Canon UK:
https://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/apple_airprint_guide/
Furthermore, check that the MG4150 printer has the latest firmware.
A full power-cycle procedure (do not forget the router) may help if an AirPrint printer is not properly recognised:
Power off the Wi-Fi router, the Canon printer, the Mac, the iPad, the iPhone, and all other computers/devices. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the Canon printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac, the iPad and the iPhone. Finally, power on all other computers/devices.

We’ve tried everything, found an old ipad and it’s work absolutely fine. A defiant updates has changed Apple access. Very frustrating. Thanks for your advice.
