RealVNC Server v7.9.0 .pkg issues on Monterey (MacBook Air)

Hi,

I'm trying to re-install RealVNC .pkg file into my MacBook Air with Monterey 12.7.3 and it's impossible as the OS shows an error message when validating the files and scripts:

installer: Package name is VNC® Server

installer: Installing at base path /

installer: The install failed.

I've followed all instructions from RealVNC and my system is configured as they need, but I think that the problem is with the .pkd installation process itself.

I've tried all the workarounds proposed for different Mac OSs but nothing works.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks BDAqua for your advise.

I tried installing in Safe Mode, but same error.

I'm running Avast Anti-virus and cleaning app also from Avast in normal mode but I understand that under safe mode both are deactivated/not running... am I right?

Post an etrecheck report so that we can see what may be interfering. Uninstall Avast.
