From DVD to Dropbox

Hi. I have some DVD’s that I like to store in Dropbox. I’ve downloaded a third party DVD ripper but I want to know if there a way to upload from the DVD direct to Dropbox without first storing the film on my I-Mac. (I have a externa Apple DVD player)
