Unable to complete my new M2 Mac Mini startup… Keyboard???

My new Mac Mini will not recognize any of the keyboards(all Bluetooth ) that I have. Therefore the startup is stuck at waiting for input decisions that I’m unable to input😖. Do I need some special USB hardwired keyboard to get around this?

Mac mini M4 stuck in startup Purchased a new M4 mini and started it up. It recognized Magic Mouse and keyboard. I followed steps for migration assistant from an older MacBook Pro. Now the mini will not recognize the mouse. When I restart, I am able to log in using the keyboard which it recognizes. But then it takes me back to the accessibility startup screen where I can choose vision, motor, hearing etc. except at this point the keyboard will not do anything, and the mini doesn't recognize the mouse at all. I tried plugging it in via usb c to back of mini and letting it charge/boot etc. nothing seems to work. Im also confused because I thought I had done the accessibility prior to the migration assistant. It seems like this thing is all messed up. Any ideas/Help? Not sure where to go from here

Keyboard won’t connect to mini I was unable to log into my Mac mini today, discovered a stuck key on my keyboard that types two “S“ each time, that I cannot get unstuck. Tried to pair a new keyboard with the Mac mini, and I’m having no luck. I took the batteries out of the first keyboard, so it is dead. Because I am outside of my login, I don’t see how to tell the mini to connect with a new keyboard. I have a separate trackpad. Is there a place to pull up a keyboard so I can click in my password? How stuck am I?

Wireless Keyboard gone weird with new computer Apple wireless keyboard connects but no spacing or delete and some letters are missing. Using a new Mac Mini

Try connecting the keyboard to the M2 mini via a usb c from system to either lightning, or cable provided. This should “pair” the keyboard with M2 mini, and allow user input.

This is where having a "spare" wired keyboard (& mouse) comes in really handy. You don't need any special keyboard, but you might just want to get a quality one by a dependable manufacturer, like Logitech.
