Powering Magsafe With a 5 Watt Charger

I just purchased the iPhone 15 Pro Max to replace my XS. I prefer slow charging and am using my old 5 watt charger with a USB to USB-C cable which works well. The 5 watt charger charges about 20% an hour which is fine with me. I want to maximize battery life. With the 80% limit, I plan to often just charge it overnight.

My question is: I would like to buy the Magsafe but only if it will work with a 5 watt or other low power charger. Has anyone tried this? Thanks

What is considered slow charging with MagSafe charger and iPhone 16 Pro Max? Seasons greetings everyone, it’s Zachy here. I am purchasing the iPhone 16 Pro Max for the holidays, and along with that comes a MagSafe charger for me. I understand that slow charging your iPhone maximizes battery efficiency and capacity. So what power adapter wattage should I use with my MagSafe charger to ensure slow charging? I was planning on using the 20W power adapter provided by Apple.
