I have a new Apple Watch Ultra that I’ve using to get into Planet Fitness. Today the App is no longer on the watch, neither in the Apps that can be installed using the IPhone. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?

Since I don’t like to take my phone in the gym, the watch is very useful. You can screen shot your QR code, save as favorite photo and use from your photos app from your watch. That was my work around to still access PF QR code. 😉

My PF app is no longer on my watch as well. However, there was a notification through the app late last year that said they (PF) were doing away with the watch app beginning X.XX.2024 (I don't remember the date but it must have only been recently) but to be "on the lookout for something new" in the coming months. Dunno if this means they're revamping it or if it's gone for good. At any rate, it's normal and not anything you did wrong or can fix. Hopefully they bring it back as it's very handy to just use my watch for check-in, etc.
I emailed the company that handles the PF app: pfmobileappsupport@abcfinancial.com
Their response was: "We're sorry for the inconvenience. We have temporarily removed support of our Apple Watch app as of February 12, 2024. To check in, please use our Planet Fitness Mobile app."
Not a word of when to expect it back!

Apple can't force third parties to support the Apple Watch. If you want to be annoyed with someone, complain to the Weather Channel and Planet Fitness.

None of it has anything to do with Apple. That’s all has to do with the third-party companies. Go complain to them. Apple has nothing to do with it.
So I got an email from PF, they don’t have an ETA if or when they will reinstate the App. But I took the advice from Carmlmami, I took a screenshot of the PF pass on my phone and placed it on my favorites. Cropped the picture and “VOILA”, I can enter PF using my watch again. Still one issue pending, the watch can’t connect to the PF wi-fi because the page that asks to accept the terms and conditions doesn’t show on the watch
I had read something similar in regards to not working to sync with the PF machines but that you would still be able to use it for checkins . Mine is gone as well as is my weather channel (which I heavily relied on for rain alerts for biking) my Apple Watch 8 starting to look more like $500 Apple W💩TCH COMMON APPLE !! Time to step your game up 🤦🏻♂️
I’m going to email PF as well. Hopefully enough people jump on the van wagon and PF will be forced to reinstall it

I'm new to Planet Fitness and was trying to get their app on my watch but finally realized it just wasn't available. Thank you for your workaround!! Take a picture... who would have thought. Brilliant!! :)
