Apple Watch 3 + Nike Run Club

I have an Apple Watch 3 and a month ago I downloaded the Nike Run Club app to my phone and Apple Watch for training. It was working fine until yesterday. Yesterday on the day of my 5K race, it disappeared. It does not appear on my watch and when I go into the apple watch app settings, it is in the Applications List as installed. However when I click it the toggle to "Show App on Apple Watch" it will toggle on and immediately toggle off. It also shows uninstalled in my health privacy settings. My Apple Watch has the updated software. What do I need to do to show the NRC app on the watch?

in case anyone sees this ……

please explain how the NIKE Apple Watch 3 is no longer compatible with the Nike Run Club app…..

please explain how a billion dollar company doesn’t care enough about its users to create two different versions of the update allowing everyone to enjoy what they pay for.

I was deciding between a new Apple Watch and a garmin and trust me I will never buy an Apple Watch again .

You punish users for taking care of their stuff and using it years later you are a joke.

I have never seen such disregard in a company towards their own customers .

take your apology and shove it up the whole that sees no light goodbye.

This just happened to me, too. I did a run on Sunday and the app was gone on Monday! I'm looking into the restoring from a backup. My idea is to restore the iPhone from an iCloud backup and see if puts the older version of the app back on the watch. Can anyone tell me: is there any chance of this working? I'm going to give it a shot and report back on this thread.

(FWIW I'm kicking myself for having auto-update on for the app store. This might have been avoided otherwise)

It won't since the backup doesn't store the actual app, only its data.

Your iPhone will download the app from App Store as part of the restore procedure.
