Apple Watch 3 + Nike Run Club

in case anyone sees this ……

please explain how the NIKE Apple Watch 3 is no longer compatible with the Nike Run Club app…..

please explain how a billion dollar company doesn’t care enough about its users to create two different versions of the update allowing everyone to enjoy what they pay for.

I was deciding between a new Apple Watch and a garmin and trust me I will never buy an Apple Watch again .

You punish users for taking care of their stuff and using it years later you are a joke.

I have never seen such disregard in a company towards their own customers .

I sent Nike a dm on X and they have replied back to say the NRC app on Apple Watch 3 series is no longer compatible. And that was basically all they said . Really poor from Nike and Apple .

is anyone else using other running apps on there Apple Watch ? Thanks

Same here, my series 3 is in perfect shape. This is so ridiculous by Apple and Nike. How come other running apps still work, but this one doesn't?

I sold my Nike stick and stop buying Nike product and move to android.

I have same trouble! I try reinstall the app and format my Watch and no result. (Watch 3)

I had the same issue. From NRC support:

Your experience is expected at the moment. The NRC app requires a minimum watchOS of 9.0 or higher to operate. Since the Apple Watch Series 3 can only update to watchOS 8.8.1, it is no longer compatible with the app. Apologies for the inconvenience.

I think it’s over mate. I’m on the same boat… The app now requires watchOS 9.

I’m in the same boat. I literally used the app one day and the next it said it was not installed on my phone. The kicker is I have the series 3 Nike version of the watch. Smh

It’s happen to me, I have Iwatch 3, and I can’t ya NRC anymore! That’s annoying, basically they’re making me decided to buy another watch!

This just happened to me, too. I did a run on Sunday and the app was gone on Monday! I'm looking into the restoring from a backup. My idea is to restore the iPhone from an iCloud backup and see if puts the older version of the app back on the watch. Can anyone tell me: is there any chance of this working? I'm going to give it a shot and report back on this thread.

(FWIW I'm kicking myself for having auto-update on for the app store. This might have been avoided otherwise)

It won't since the backup doesn't store the actual app, only its data.

Your iPhone will download the app from App Store as part of the restore procedure.

I am the same. One day the Nike Run Clup app was working on my watch , next day its gone. Anyone have a work around ? or any further information if this is going to be fixed ?
