Why do I have to re enter my wifi password everytime I go home or go to places where I have already connected to the WiFi

my phone doesn’t automatically connect to any wifi that I have already connected to. I have to re enter the password. The auto connect is also turned on too.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17

Open Settings
- Tap General
- Tap Transfer or Reset Phone
- Tap Reset
- Tap Reset Network Settings

This will erase all Wi-Fi passwords, but will not result in any other data loss, and it may fix your problem.
