ipad 10th typing response terrible

So I’ve owned many iPads. My last wqs. 10.9 pro. It’s great except one battery cell died and it drops rom 50 to 0 when using. So I bit the bullet and purchased a new one. First order, made a mistake, got the low end 10.9 with 64g, replaced it with the real pro with256. I thought it was the low end, but having used the new iPad for a few days, I can’t stand the typing response.

I’ve turned off many settings, click sounds, animations, etc. but it seems unless I slow down typing it gets all messed up. Being a programmer who types kinda quickly, how on earth do I recover?

At this point I think it would be better for me to spend $1k on a new battery for the old unit, the use a new.

others thoughts?
