In Numbers, how to sum one column except the first row.

For example, I want to sum the A2 to the last of A. If I only choose them, for example, A2 to A5, then if I add row 6, it will only sum A2 to A5 as well. I want to sum A2 to A last. The first row is not a number, so I can't sum all of A column and minus A1.

In Numbers it's as simple as this!

Make sure row 1 is a Header Row, and define the last row as a Footer Row.

Then in column A of the Footer Row enter this:

=SUM(A)

The formula will automatically capture values entered additional rows.
