QuickTime on MacBook

When I took a video of a person dancing on a streaming software the music was came out fine but the persons dancing was choppy. So I tried QuickTime and QuickTime kept going off.

Do I understand it right that you re-recorded a video from a website? How did you take that video (before trying QuickTime)? Maybe there is a better way to grab the original video, rather than re-recording.

It may be helpful to know the site, as they all tend to use different web tech for videos.
