When i updated my 13 to ios 17, the bluetooth in my car is recognized as fake airpods, although it never did this before. i tried resetting network connections, resetting the car, and restarting my iphone. the audio quality is bad when playing music and the microphone in the car sounds awful on phone calls

If you get this alert when you try to connect your AirPods to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, verify that your AirPods are genuine. You can choose to not connect your unverified AirPods, or to connect them in Bluetooth settings.

Thank you, but the issue is that this device is not airpods. My car radio is identified as such in other apps and before the software update, but now the connection says it’s not genuine airpods. The radio is still recognized still in other apps like Spotify, just not the connection with Apple.
