How to know if your iPhone has been hacked?

I got a pop up on my safari saying that my phone has been hacked, I did not click anything, I just removed the tabs with the popups, the others said my storage is full. How do I know if I have actually been hacked? Is there any way my phone can be scanned for malware?

They're nothing but lame attempts to scam you.

There is no way - at all - for a remote computer to know what's on your device through a web browser. Apple would never, ever, send such a message that your storage is full.

You did all you needed to do by simply closing the offending tabs.

Unless you've jailbroken your phone, there is almost no way to remotely hack an iOS device. Certainly not from a web page/popup, email or text.

What does exist costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per device to try and hack into the device itself. Do you have any information on your phone worth that kind of investment?

Again, you don't need to do anything. There was no hack, or even an attempt at one. These scams require you to fall for whatever it says and either call the number shown, or click on a link and fill in personal information once there, before anything can happen.
