PowerMac G5 Battery

I needed to replace the SAFT 3.6V lithium battery, which I did, but I am not sure of the polarity. The battery slot has no marks (+ -) to indicate the correct insert position. I the side cover and access to the battery socket but not sure about the polarity, I don't want to try it without knowing - for fear of burning something out!

Can I just replace the battery on a MacBook Pro M2? I visited the nearest Apple store to enquire about the cost of replacing a macbook pro M2 Pro battery turns out to replace the battery the whole Keyboard and touchpad bascially the whole top part of the Mac has to be replaced is this true ? Is there an alternative to this .. I have a 2023 Macbook Pro M2 Pro please guide me [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Battery replacement for Macbook Pro 2015 13 inch I have Macbook pro 13 inch 2015 which is working fine but now facing challenge with the battery. Its not possible to run without the power cord attached. I got it checked at the service center and was advised that the whole body with keyboard etc. would need to be changed as battery is integral part of the casing. Is it true? This seems to be surprising as battery should be replaceable.

If the logic board around the battery mount is dusty, clean it . No sure anbothte G5 tower, but in many older Macs, the polarity is silkscreened on the logic board around the mount. WhenI needed to check my G4 MMD I had to wipe off the dust to find the polarity marks
