🚨 MacOs 14.3.1 Sonoma Bug, Can't see or unhide hidden purchases on Mac App Store, Music and TV App?

I am suffering from this one too! Very irritating. MacOS 14.3.1

Installed update 14.4.1: the issue persists! WOW! A bit of shame on Apple? Luckily, the Nickname workaround keeps on working well.

I am also experiencing this issue. I have a need for some apps purchased a while back that I haven’t had a need for until recently. I like to keep my purchase history as clean as possible, and this weird bug is causing me some similar issues to what other posters are seeing. Thank you for proving I am not (totally) insane!

Same here unfortunately. When clicking on Account Settings literally nothing happens.

When trying to get to the account settings from Media and Purchases, its says I have no app purchases available despite having a large library full of hidden purchases I can't access at this point. Very frustrating!

Can't use BBC iPlayer on my new MacBook Air (M I, 2020) with OS Sonama 14.3.1. Very surprised! When I try, I get a message This device is not compatible with the iPlayer app... Shocked! Please fix this bug!

Loads and loads of my TV purchases were simply "hidden" and there was no obvious way to get them back.

iTunes and the TV.app have always been terrible applications. Apple seems more focused on DRM and selling than providing a good customer experience.

The 'Sonoma' Bug may have threw me off guard, but I feel that the solution that presented itself. A temporary solution that presents a level of security for anyones Apple account. By concealing the hidden purchases, this glitch provides a level of security to protect the purchases from being used or viewed. However, that 'temporary solution' and workaround helps out until a 'permanent' solution presents itself. Hopefully, that Apple will provide it in the next update.

You sir, are a genius! I have a support ticket on this very thing reported very early that  has been just sitting on. Radio silence for nearly a month now. Shame on my support rep for not apprising me of this brilliant, interim workaround.  is failing hard, I'm concerned about their future and my buyers remorse of all the countless thousands of dollars I've invested in a myriad of their products. I can just hear Steve's voice in my head (and him rolling in his grave)..."It just works."

I have been on the phone today with 3 people and 5.5hrs in total to apple support, all helpful however baffled.

They could not resolve and are escalating to Engineers.

I have followed your steps and have all TV shows back. Thanks again. (macOS as of today 14.5 issue persists.) Apple did say that there have been issues since February so interesting that this has not yet been resolved.

Thank you for the hack, it helped (only tried on macOS)! Bugs truly work in the most weird ways sometimes.

Yet I am still sad it hasn't been fixed already. Not particularly surprised though, which is actually a sadder part.

View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services

If after reviewing all the info in above link from Apple and still believe there is a Bug

Then have a few suggestions ;

Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are PAID  Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues . 

 Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue 

I'm just so glad it wasn't just me that was having this issue
