Multiple Account Recovery requests I did not submit.

Since November, I have received multiple verified legitimate apple emails from appleid@id.apple.com indicating that an Account Recovery request has been submitted. These requests always have a different phone number. It is great that I have 30 days to say the request is not legitimate but, the sooner I deny the request, the sooner another attempt is made.

I have an approved recovery phone number and approved alternate email addresses so, I don't understand how these requests are allowed to go through. It's inconvenient and unnerving that I have to even think about keeping up with this and it's only for my apple account.

I have checked on the devices attached to my account many times before and, this was the first time I found new devices. An old iPod, iPhone and "Elias's Macbook Pro." (I don't know an Elias) Every device I have retired, I have wiped, especially if I handed it over to someone else. Last night, my husband reminded me that we were burglarized 11 years ago and my 2009 MacBookPro was stolen. I removed the devices and wiped them at the time and had since completely forgot about it. I don't know if these were my old devices or if it is related. All of the devices were password protected on the hardware. I elected to wipe all these unknown devices the next time they turn on and removed them from the account.

I didn't get an email today but, I just received an OS notification alert that an Account Recovery Request has been submitted. Of course, every time I have ever clicked the notification, it says "click to see the location of the request." I click the banner and it opens System Settings to wherever I had it opened last. I don't even know if a recovery request was actually submitted. The banner just pops up periodically for no reason.
