All apple mail outbound emails suddenly stopped, incoming are fine?

On Mac High Sierra, Apple mail stopped sending out all outgoing emails. Incoming emails still work fine. Any comments.

Apple Mail suddenly cannot send mail Suddenly Apple mail took all my SMTP servers for outgoing mail offline and won't turn them back on. I can receive mail on all these same servers. This isn't just icloud, but other servers as well (gmail, etc) I fired up Spark and can send the same emails just fine. I closed and reopened Apple Mail but the problem persists. My mail app in my MacBook Pro will not send emails. My mail app in my MacBook Pro (2019) will not send emails, it just stays in the outbox or just continues to try to send them. I ran the mail connection doctor, and it says SMTP is not working, the IMAP is working fine. It has been like this for over a month. I can receive and see the emails, but I am not able to respond to them through the app. Any suggestions?

It is most likely a problem that can be resolved in your Mail Settings. The outgoing mail is called the SMTP server and the problem could be the Password, Port Number, or Host name. It is possible your internet provider changed the settings that were required to send mail.

Did you recently change the password to your email provider?
What is the name of your email provider?
Are you receiving any errors?
What happens when you attempt to send an email?
