If so how do I log off one to sign into other user? A child account is what I am specifically talking about? So they can have their own data and game on their user account? I can not find an answer to this anywhere...
Outside of Educational establishments, iPad and iPhone are principally intended to be a single-user device - and are not intended to shared in the same manner as you may be accustomed when using a Windows PC or Mac computer - which has multiple user profiles/accounts.
Be aware that for iPad and iPhone, signing-out of iCloud does not clear all locally stored data - and unless you are very careful when signing-out, you stand a very real risk of having your personal and/or sensitive data (such as your Calendar, Contacts and Keychain (Passwords) being merged with the AppleID/iCloud data next used to sign-in.

That's the reason why we (my wife and myself) are not buying new iPads. We would like to have a new mini and a device with a 13'' screen (iPad Pro or the upcoming large Air) but we would like to be able to both have an account on both devices. This is not possible with the current iPadOS which sucks.
Can my Ipad have 2 separate users with separate apple Id's?
