Can I use Apple Watch Series 9 Cellular as GPS only?
I am looking at getting an apple watch series 9 but don't think I will initially activate the cellular plan. Will the watch function without the plan? Will it work like the GPS version?

You do not need to activate the cellular radio.
In GPS only mode, it will do everything a cellular model will do, AS LONG AS your iPhone is nearby.
