On my 2019 iMac Safari won't upload from my photo library and won't let me toggle between two email accounts on Gmail.

My 2019 iMac has just had external and internal hard drive replaced as both failed. I am running Sonoma 14.3.1

I used to do everything on Firefox but decided to switch to Safari. Now my photo library can't be accessed to upload, says I have to update photo library.

I also used to be able to toggle between email accounts in gmail but now it only shows my personal gmail account and won't let me access or even add back in my other email addresses.

I relaunched Firefox, and it all works as it used to before I had to replace the drives.

How can I make Gmail and photos work on Safari or should I just stay with Firefox?

Also, I run Chrome on my laptop and am able to toggle between email accounts and access photos. It seems to be a Safari problem.
