How do I get the various emoji skin tone options back?

I'm on my laptop, not iOS.. and I accidentally hit the wrong skin tone when the multiple options were offered because I was choosing that face emoji for the first time.

Now, I want to correct it to a different tone. But my emoji window only shows the one I accidentally chose. I have tried clicking on it and hitting Delete (someone suggested this in an older topic) - but nothing happens.

When I press and hold on it.. nothing happens.

How do I delete it and/or at least get the other variations back so I can choose differently?
