Find My Live quit after update to iOS 17.3.1

I upgraded an iPhone 11 Pro to IOS 17.2 and Find My Live quit working. It is now at 17.3.1 and Live still does not work. Wife’s iPhone 14 Pro still has IOS 16.7.2 and sees newer and older versions in Live view. An iPad Air 4 with 16.7 can also see Live view from newer and older versions.

Find My Live on older versions has a small green circle radiating outward from the selected Live icon while it moves on the map. The iPhone 11 Pro with 17.1.3 never switches to the Live view. I plan on not upgrading the older devices until I hear from you that it is fixed.

Thank you for your reply. I had originally attempted to reply to a user in the FindMy discussion about his comments, but I was unable to reply to him, and this new discussion resulted. I have tried nearly everything that was suggested in that original discussion, to no avail. I have a good internet connection, and live view works quite well on all my devices running iOS 16.7 on iPhone and iPad. I will read through the About iOS 17 Updates link above and see if it sheds any new light on the problem. I began using Apple devices in 2008, after years with CP/M 2.2 and IBM PCs, and have loved them immensely!
