Does changing Apple ID remove all the data from device?

Does changing Apple ID remove all data from device? eg. email storage and or photos

The original Apple ID email registered is created from prior Intranet provider email server; NOW I have a new Intranet provider, now I have no access to the registered email Apple ID. What exactly is lost when changing Apple ID? I do not use the Apple ID for any purchases. What can I do?

Follow the steps listed in Change your Apple ID, "Learn how to change the email address associated with your Apple ID."

That Support Article explains "If you no longer use the email address that's associated with your Apple ID, or you no longer have access to it, you can change it. You won’t lose access to your contacts, purchases, or other account information."
