MacBook Pro's screen is black but shows only a tiny strip along the top of the screen

I have a MacBook Pro 2020, Apple M1 Chip running Ventura 13.4. The Screen is all black but I can see a very tiny strip along the top of the screen. My pointer can get to that section and when I plug in to an external display and mirror my screen, the external screen works fine.

I used the Macbook all day at work and nothing was wrong but when I got home this happened.

I did try turning it off and on but it didn't help.

Points to a internal display issue

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment

Make an appointment for a "hardware issue"
