Mirroring screen remotely for tech challenged senior

Looking for a way to share internet content with an elderly person who lives many states away and is overwhelmed by mice, keyboards, or any other conceivable interface. Ideally they would be able to leave a device on all the time and when commanded remotely their screen would come to life with a mirror of my screen so I could share content with them. Is there a way to do this
