Screen sharing - macbook air to ipad for elderly parents

I sometimes need to help my Mom figure out her ipad. Is there a recommended screen sharing option?

When using FaceTime between users of Mac and iPad - and your iPad is using iOS/iPadOS 15.1 or later - you can quite literally share and see whatever is on screen:

Make and receive FaceTime calls on iPad - Apple Support

Share your screen in FaceTime on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Make and receive calls in FaceTime on Mac - Apple Support

Share your screen in FaceTime on Mac - Apple Support
