Can I use an old iPad Air A1566 for managing Family Sharing with Android devices?

Hi there - my daughter has a new iPad that she has to have for school. I have an Apple account, with Family Sharing, but I use Android devices, which makes it very difficult to actually manage the Family Sharing functions (which I understand basically needs to be done via Apple devices). However, I have been offered use of an old iPad Air A1566. Is that sufficiently up to date that I'll be able to use it for Family Sharing purposes at least?

That iPad (iPad Air gen 2) can run iPadOS 15. I don't see anywhere where Apple says what version the App Store requires, but for Family Sharing they say you need at least iOS 11, so it should work.
