Up until a few days ago, my search bar in Google Chrome provided an option for searching “news” as well as “all, images, videos,” etc. Now the news option has disappeared from the menu. Can I restore it? I know there is a separate Google News app but it was very convenient to use basic Google Chrome to search the Web and toggle between “all” and “news,” which provided me with two different ranges of search results.

Thanks. I’m aware it’s not and have contacted Google. No response so far. I’m hoping that someone in this community may have already had the same problem and worked through the issue and could tell us how they perhaps resolved it (or it can’t be).
