Block third party apps on Iphone7

Got a letter telling me to call 611 if I want to block third party apps on my phone. Called 611, customer serice,

and they had no idea what I was talking about. This was a specific letter from USCellular, telling me this was

and option to block third party apps, and to call 611. Anyone know how I can actually block 3rd party apps?

If you're in the U.S., you can't bill App Store purchases to your cell phone bill.

And, you shoudn't be downloading apps from anywhere else so, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

When you say you "got a letter," do you mean you got a physical piece of mail dropped off by your postal carrier? Or do you mean an email? If you mean an email, it's possible it was some sort of scam.

But, if it legitimately came from U.S. Cellular, only they can tell you what it means.

It was a letter through the US mail. It was referring to third party apps that will be on my cell phone bill. I have apps, but don't have any services that get billed through my cell phone bill. And would like to make sure my

phone cannot be used for that purpose. Just an extra security, is all. I did call the number in the letter and it was

US cellular "customer service", but she had not idea how to help, even though I was instructed to call that number.

So I thought there might be a way to do that on my phone and she suggested that there was. I could not find it and thought maybe someone here had a similar experience. Thanks for your response.
