Why Do Apple's Parental Controls Not Work?

Why?

Kid doesn't have password.

Downtime regularly switches itself off?

Block at time limit doesn't work?

I'm having to pay verizion 10$ a month for the smart family app.

I'm can brick specific devices at the router with a Deco mesh network,

but it is beyond disappointing that the weak link appears to be with Apple?

I know that this is a known bug.

The only logic I can come up with is: no effort cause no revenue?

Do better.

Why do parental controls keep resetting? Has anyone else noticed parental restrictions on screen times, device downtimes, and app limits keep resetting? Every few days I go in to review my kids’ phone usage and notice the downtime is back off and all limits have been erased. (I did change my passcode in case someone had figured it out). Is anything being done to fix this or is there anything I can do to keep these restrictions on and in place?
