I guess the clarification would be that Apple decided to manufacture the power cube with a white exterior. As we are Apple products users, we would have no insight as to why. As to why you would think it should be something other than white, l do not know.

Apple has never provided anything but a white power adapter with any of their laptops. You can provide Apple with product feedback here:

Yes, the adapter for the Space Black MBP is white.

However, the braided charging cable is dark grey and the MagSafe connector is itself Space Black.
