Magic Movie Transitions

I am trying to edit my "Magic Movie" I made in iMovie. I want to add transitions, but iMovie will not let me. I have searched for Apple's instructions, and they say all I have to do is click the cinematic button in editing mode. When I try that, the button is greyed out and will not do anything. There are also some other editing features that I don't have access to like 'text' and 'edit'. I have everything up to date and I don't want to recreate this as a regular iMovie clip.

The purpose of Magic Movie is to enable the user to easily create a movie. Thus, the editing capabilities are very limited. Here's a copy of the help menu page on the iPhone that you can access through "Learn More". :

As you can see, adding transitions is not one of the editing options. To have the capability of adding or changing transitions you would need to make a normal movie, not Magic Movie.
